With the first minister’s announcement today we have to with great regret once more close the church for public Masses and private prayer with the exception of funerals. This will apply from today. Letter from Fr Ivan can be read here.
There is some hope that we may be able to have people attend Church this Easter with suggestions that the present lockdown restrictions may be loosened for Easter.
Although this has not been confirmed, and we have no idea what that might look like both in which days and how many people may be allowed we feel that we should prepare as much as we can.

Join people from throughout the diocese for 30 minutes of prayer and reflection on four Sundays of Lent. Please register your interest through the email on the flyer. You will then be sent a link for the meetings.
Fr Ivan will lead us in reciting the rosary on Thursdays at 7pm.
Fr Ivan will lead us in exposition and adoration for a Holy Hour between 7pm and 8pm on Tuesdays. This will be live streamed.

The Bishop’s Conference of Scotland Pastoral Ministry Working Group has been giving some consideration to various ways of facilitating access to online resources to support those who are unable to attend their local parish church during these times. The Being Catholic website some resources that can be used in different pastoral settings: prayers and devotions, catechesis talks and a youth section.
